Here's a selection of backup techno rock tunes written in various minor keys (Am through Gm) for anybody wanting something to practice leads to.

Recording Info:

All songs were recorded using a Mac Core 8, Cubase 4.3 and various synths and plug-ins.
Overdrive guitars were done on a 75 Gibson L6S Deluxe running through a Boss GT-8 and then enhanced with Amplitube.
The acoustics were recorded on a Yamaha Eterna.

Each song has a corresponding beginners lesson under the tutorial titles "Basic Minor Chords" starting here:

.... with info on various ways to play each chord, a video song with examples, a looped Jam version without the guitar tracks added and an MP3 file with stereo acoustic backup chords.

The Jam files can be found on the Jam Player section under "All Styles" and will loop endlessly. Each tune is about 3 to 4 minutes in length with varying beats and sections to try and keep things interesting.

Cheers! :)
Can you play "Far Far Away?"

Yes - how far would you like?
