I think Steve Khan is a guitar player, not a bass player. Maybe its the same guy though. I have never really heard any of his music. From what I heard of him, he has some interesting ideas concerning chords. Apparently, his concept of playing chords and moving to different chords focuses heavily on the 3rd and 7th tone of the chords. I was just wondering if there were any good tricks to learn from him that people had come across. I found out that he authored the book Chord Khancepts, but I have never actually come across it in any music store. (fyi Chris: Jimmy's new video is slated to come out by Spring 2002 according to the Hotlicks website. I'll see him next weekend and ask him about the scale he used in Giant Steps. You may want to check out Guitar One. Within the last year they transcribed Giant Steps for guitar)
