Just joined- looking to improve fingerpicking style
I've been playing for about 23 years. I'm wanting to really improve my fingerpicking style... something like Chet Atkins... obviously not near the level though.

Hi appstate98,
Me too I just joined, full access member since january 19th. However I am at beginner/intermediate level. Between beginner and intermediate but tough to rank our self sometime!
If your question is about some lesson suggestions here at Guitar Tricks, go with Fingerpicking on the home page under the Technique Studies section. This tutorial is intend for beginner on that style and I don't know right now your level on this particular style.
A cool thing at Guitar Tricks is the lessons grouped by artists. Again on the home page, on the section entitled Artist Studies, clicking on Chet Atkins could be interesting for you!
Finally, the tool you must use is the Advanced Search feature on the Web site. This works very well and there is a lot of options you can set. By example you can search for lessons by a specific instructors, level of difficulty and category to focus on. Think about adding also some keywords so in your case fingerstyle or fingerpicking by example. I found Tutorial: 8. Acoustic Fingerpicking 8: Picker's Goldmine! tutorial using it. Again I ignore your level on fingerpicking style but this one is for intermediate guitarists. It could help your playing.
If the question was about really specific lesson suggestions on fingerpicking style sorry I can't help on this one... at least for now! lol
See you!
