This is who Maxco is talking about, he played keyboards for Lynyrd Skynyrd. He was a great musician, some of those guys used to come and jam with us when we played in Jacksonville, FL. We didn't have keys in the band, so he couldn't sit in, but he did come out to listen once.

Eventhough most of them aren't around anymore, Skynyrd's music will live forever. They gave us so much in a short time, great riffs, smokin' leads, and songs that we still sing along with. I'm sure those guys are jammin, and rocking in the clouds. We still play their music in every show, and it still brings down the house.

Rest in Peace,
Billy Powell, and my Dad Jim "HumpHammer" Jarrell

Oh yes... Right... I heard about that... What a sad thing. Never was a HUGE Fan, but always enjoyed what I heard on the radio. They had a little too country of a sound in their southern rock tone for my complete liking of the bad. Don't get me wrong, AWESOME music though.
