Got a slideguitar for christmas. Anyone got any tip(s)? I´m a beginner at playing slide so any tip at all would be useful.

Hey freddwe, I think we need more info here, what exactly do you mean by "Slide Guitar", is a dobro, lap steel, pedal steel, hilo, or a standard electric set-up for slide playing?

I see, said the blind man, as he picked up his hammer and saw. Try "Freebird", it's slow and simple, muting the unplayed strings, and working on a good tone are two of the basic challenges for a good slide style, keep at it!
