Bass guitar lessons

Hi - I have a friend who needs some refresher courses on playing bass and I was wondering if anyone here has some suggestions. I didn't see any bass guitar lessons on this site but this type of forum would be perfect. Any help is appreciated!

i don't believe we have any bass lessons here but i like the idea. When I learned that the first four strings of the bass are the same as the first four of the guitar I was able to apply alot of what I learned on guitar right on over to bass.
Learning basic arpeggios is really handy -1,3,5 note of the chord tells you what notes are best to play (on bass) over a guitarist's chord.

Hi, I'm primarily a bass player and use this site quite often. IMO it's the best bass site online. It's a bit pricey compared to Guitar Tricks but check it out anyway.
