when I was looking I was also checking out single pedals too...but some werent that much cheaper at all. I only spent $130 on my multi.

And since I didnt really know what I wanted...and Im just beginning.... I decided a multi was the way to go because it would give me a taste of everything...

then as I am learning and playing around I can get a better feel for what I like and get a specific pedal geared towards that.
