So where to after guitar fundermentals 1 and 2?

I am rock biased and want to do rock but I am willing to do the blues first (even though I am not that fussy on the blues) and then do some country.
I would do this purely for the experiance and knowledge that could help me when I do the rock course.

In between all this I am thinking of trying some of the Technique Studies.

Do you think This is a good idea or shall I just hit the rock?

I'd recommend you take the rock level 1 course before going into the technique studies.

If, however, you are dying to try techniques, stick to bending, hammer-ons and pull-offs. They are the beginning lead techniques.

But above all don't get in over your head and get frustrated.

Have fun!

Thanks.

I still have fun on the guitar. The serious stuff first and then I play what I want for fun. I have been told that I am a cautious player and I should let rip even if it sounds rubbish. It is fun to hear the mistakes. Practise slow then do it fast but ALWAYs go back to slow practise. Speed will come naturally. (so I am told)

Going for a noodle....
