I've always been told the stock strings are usually junk. After seeing what came on my brothers fender strat acoustics guitar it made my strings off my sg-400 electric look amazing.

I bought new strings cause they said wont you get good, you will sooner than later break one. And the sound quality gets alot better too. I will be buying acoustics after my wedding( :eek: ), and i think for most the styles that are played on it i preferred the thicker strings.

I've picked up about 5 of them so i can tell the differences...but go to a music store and just browse so when you look online you have better idea.
