Help with the Zoom MRS-1608 Multitrak Recording Studio

I have a ZOOM MRS-1608 multitrak Recording Studio. I've been able to do some basic recording but anything beyond that has been difficult. I read and re-read the operation manual but I think the author assumed the reader had a better basic understanding than I do. Does anyone know of a "Zoom mrs-1608 for Dummies" type of manual I can buy? If not, how about a Zoom forum where dummies like me can learn the ins and outs of this thing?
