Arpeggios are actually really easy when learn where and how to play them. First of all, they are the 1st, 3rd, and 5th notes ONLY of any scale in any key. So, if the A natural minor scale is ABCDEFGA, the arpeggio is ACE. This may have not been the answer you are looking for, but you can "create" your own arpeggios and use them as you like, whether it be sweep picking, triads, or practicing a certain technique.

Kick the baby's right, though I don't see anything wrong with adding notes in between or out of the 1st, 3rd, and 5ths. A good way to start would be to work with a basic triadic chord structure like

-----------------------
-----------------------
-----------------------
------------4----------
---------5-------------
------7----------------

To get the concept down it its good to work with a simple exercise (at least it worked for me), and a great picking exercise that also has a very demented sound to it is

--4----------------4h5---3---------------3h4---
-----5-----------5----------4----------4--------
--------6-----6----------------5----5-----------
-----------7----------------------6-------------
------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------

This is also a great way to practice sweep picking. Hope this was of some help :D

(The last one is actually about chord inversions; but this will help you to visualize any and all basic arpeggios that are possible on the guitar!)
