It's closer to Christmas and I figured I had better do something this year.
So like the lil drummer boy I have no gifts to bring. Just this song.
It is what it is, and I make no excuses.. well, I didn't have but 25 minutes
to lay down all the vocals and everything was thrown together franticly. I
wasn't going to spend a lot of time on a song that becomes obsolete in about 20 days.
That being said, I present 'A Christmas'.

A Christmas

Really quite nice. I rather enjoyed that. Very cool, non-traditional vibe but also very melodic and flowed well. Good work.

When I listened to it, I found it had spots that recalled a Waters/Syd Barret vibe but that's was because of the immediacy of the vocals in the verse. The vocals were very 'close' in the mix but in a very good and bare way. The Chorus/harmony parts kinda brought back early and interesting McCartney/Wings vibe a la 'Ram' and really opened up the song and let it breath.

Thanks for your kind words and thoughts, it means a lot.
I always like Ram, it was in fact my favorite McCartney album.. hadn't thought about that album for many years now.

Again, appreciate your time.. Happy and safe Holidays!

Beautiful tune...a bit of Ram, 10cc maybe even Supertramp. Bravo!
