alternate tunings
i need help im not very good at reconizing tones or notes by ear yet.. is there anyone out there that can explain to me how to tune to dropped C (low to high)C G C F A D i love godsmack and system of a down and they play this tuning on some of their stuff... ant help would be greatly appreciated..... THANX

When you have your guitar tuned to "standard" drop your big "e" string down to the third fret of the "a" string. Do this also with your "d" string. Then tune your guitar off of it's self. When you tune this low you might want to put on higher gauged strings so you don't get too much slack.

thankx a lot i got it now i think i only have a fender standard turner so i can only tune to standard.. i appreciate the help..
