malmsteen effect

in G3 live in denver malmsteen played with satrini and vi on the last part, malmsteen played the voodo child for the finali on the jam the first intro was that he push the pedal and distortion effect he manage to come up with bullet explosion effect.. can somebody assist me what type of effect he have been using... and how he could come up with this extra ordinary sound projection.... :confused:

On the G3 Live In Denver DVD Yngwie Malmsteen uses a Crybaby Wah Pedal on the intro to "Voodoo Chile". Plug a Fender Strat into a wah and then into an overdriven Marshall stack and you can get all kinds of interesting sounds. :)
