Strings?
Im fairly new to the guitar and im wondering if the nylon strings are easier to finger than the metal ones. I would also like to know if there is a tab out there that's fairly easy as an introduction to tabs.

Nylon strings are a good way start, You'll just nee to make sure they will work on your guitar. The string slots in the nut of your guitar may be to narrow if the guitar was set up for steel. Any music store could advise you whether or not they'd be a good fit. You may also want to consider using extra light steel. Keep in mind tho they will likley be more difficult to keep in tune.
As for choosing tabs, just look for tabs for music that does not sound complicated. Not knowing your musical taste it would be difficult reccomend anything.

I totally agree with flinty. Nylon strings are nice and when your beginning they wont hurt your fingers quite as much and will help build up a calus. But, like flinty said make sure they will work on your guitar. I have an acoustic with nylon strings and I love it. They make a really beautiful sound on acoustic. :)
Practice...Practice...PRACTICE!!!! It really does make perfect. :)

I think nylon strings are the way to go when you your starting out but i prefer steel. I think you can get a louder and more defined sound from steel strings and it makes your acoustic sound very sharp. But nylon strings provide a softer sound
so it really comes down to your personal taste.
Choose what ever suits you best! :)
