I bought a new set of strings. Ernie Ball Super Slinky. I tried to restring and broke my high E string. :( I went out and bought another set only this time regular Ernie Ball Slinky strings. I need a tip on how not to break that string. I tried to tune with the tuning feature on my amp. I've never used that feature before. It is a new amp. I have a Roland Cube 30X.

One other question, will this amp be sufficient to learn to play metal on?
