I got this guitar maybe...oh 5 months ago ( my old one was smashed by an angry stepmother)

mm its great! has egm pickups, nice inlays, it always stays in tune too!

but i get this terrible buzzing sound on my "low note" E,A,D strings, I hear ths is bad, is that my fault? or do i have faulty strings?

There's probably nothing wrong with your strings, unless they've been on there for a long time. Fresh is good y'know?

More likely is that your axe needs to be set up, including an adjustment of the truss rod tension in the neck. Unless your picking action is much too heavy for the strings, they shouldn't buzz. Light strings need a light touch.

Have a competent tech take a look at it, and they'll let you know what's up, what to do about it, and what your options will cost.

Yeah, that's kinda subjective. Take it in to a tech for a look-see. They won't usually charge anything for a quick assessment.

Well it doesn't really matter how hard you pick it might be something wrong with your guitar maybe your neck is too loose if you can slip anything bigger than a credit card through the neck slot then thats bad loose parts result in bad tone, pitch to your sound it depends if you got the guitar 5 months ago it might be like your amp or something it all depends on where you got it and for how long and what quality it was in when you got it
