For years I've always wanted to learn the guitar but kept having excuses. We all know how it goes. I am now 1 year over the half century mark and for my birthday my daughter and son-in-law got me an electric guitar combo. She told me she didn't want to hear any more excuses. But I kept procrastinating and it sat around for 3 months. Birthday was in August. Well out of the blue my girlfriend bought me a nice acoustic last weekend for an early Christmas present. So I am out of excuses now and actually am excited to learn. They are both sitting on stands next to by computer. I prefer the acoustic and will learn on it, but will play around on the electric also. I researched around and found this site to learn guitar. I have started on Beginner 1 and so far pretty good. I like the videos and the ability to download them. A lot of good information here. Thumbs up. Hal :)
