James, I agree with Guitarking and Blackrose. The first guitar I had was some piece of crap Fender, but when I tried out my friend's Ibanez I knew that it was the brand for me.

The S-series was designed to be a small, lightweight, solid-body guitar with jazz quality tone. From what I've experienced so far, they acheived their goal.
