i got an Ibanez S1540FM Custom.. this got great stockpickups(QM1 and 2 and QMS1).. the neck is wonderful, and the body is light and thin. but if u're getting an ibanez, i would recomend to buy one 500-series or over.. because the ones under are made in Korea on the Samick's factory, and they comes with a LO-TRS(I/II) whammybar.. It's a huge step between the Lo-Pro Edge/ original Edge and the Lo-TRS in the matter of stability.. btw.. the V pickups are ok.. but not great.. i would replace thoose with eiter DiMarzio Evolutions, EMG81/85 or Seymore Duncan Screamin Demon(which don't have that high output.. but got an incredible sound)..

I like the S-series better then the RGs.. but the RGs got 24 fretz.. so it's a matter of need and taste..

BTW, u should check out ESP and Jackson guitars.. and if u really want a guitar.. Vigier...
