Gibson Lespaul standard BRIDGE PROBLEMS

Hey guys! Im slightly new here but anyways , Ive had problems with my guitar bridge on my gibson Les Paul standard. Between the first metal part and the bigger metal bar , I cant adjust them both and get the feeling I want out of my strings..I just want a nice tension, where I can play my leads comfortably but not have it too loose to get good firm bar chords. Strings on it arent old, just ernie ball 10's. Could someone tell me an average setup on the guitar to get a good feel? thankyou!

I think you'll have to visit a guitar tech and discuss your options. 'Feel' is definitely not something that words on a page can describe exactly. Get some face time with a tech, and they'll have some guitars on hand to help you show what you want, and don't want.
