Lessons On Tuning Half-step and Whole steps

I was wondering how you tune a standard tuning to a half-step down or the the 4th fret

If you are using a tuner just tune E down to Eflat or Dsharp (depending on the tuner), A goes to Aflat or Gsharp etc. Is that what you mean? If you don't have a tuner then you can fret the 4th fret of the low E string and tune the A string into it etc.

Just drop the bottom E (6th string) down to a D.
Easiest way to tune it is just compare it to the open 4th string. It should be one octave lower.
