TASCAM FireOne?

Anyone ever use a TASCAM FireOne? Saw one online for $129, and I have a firewire input. I was gonna get a good soundcard for it, but at that price, it's cheaper than a good soundcard, with some control surface to work with, and mic preamps. Just wondering about sound quality, latency and anything else you have to say about it.

Also interested in hearing about any other similar interfaces you may have used.
