Tremolo Bar

I've been looking into electric guitars for a while, since I would like to buy one (just money's an issue) One of the things I am considering is a Tremolo bar, and I mentioned it to one of my friends, and he said that the guitar will bubble out after lots of use. I thought that meant just for cheap ones. Does this include all guitars with tremolo's?
