Brand New to GT!

Hello,

I'm Evan i live in Canada and im 16, hoping too learn alot more about guitar, not sure how too start on this site but help would be appreciated. I am not a total beginner but i would love too become an expert :D

I really like alternative rock uhmm bands like, the classic crime, between the trees, all that remains... so some punk and stuff but I don't neccesaraly need too learn guitar for those bands I would like also just learning some of the really famous guitar peoples material. I would love to play lead or rythem guitar for a band and be able to improvise. I like escape the face, bless the fall and lots more. I also like some acoustic songs done by alternative artists.

Hey Evan, welcome to this great site. Ive been a member for about 2 weeks or so, and I already know so much more than before I joined. I had about 10 years experience, and I could play about any song I wanted, but I could never figure out why things fit where, or if I tried to write something I would get lost not knowing how to make the sound I wanted.

I suggest just jump in and start doing lessons. I found that even though I can play a hard song, I was still able to learn a thing or two from the beginner lessons. And there are tons of lessons and things to learn on this site.

Thanks so much for your reply, i need too know where on the site are the beginning tuts etc... i would rather just start from the beginning so i can get really good. :D
