ESP Viper Deluxe 1000... Any good?

Im looking into buying a new electric guitar. I play alot of metal and rock. I was looking at the ESP Ltd Viper Deluxe 1000. I played it at GC and I liked it but didnt compare it with too much else. Has anyone heard anything about this guitar and what do you think of it?

I don't know much about that particular guitar but you may want to check out the Epiphone prophecy ex has emg 81/85 combo, looks cooler (imo) and is cheaper.

I was asking about it at guitar center and the guy says it's a great guitar but it's made in Korea. He also said they are selling fast so may have to wait for one to come in. Definately worth a look. :)
