I had a similar first impression until I contacted the techs at Guitartricks. They explained exactly how to access all the free lessons. It's simple. If you have a question, just ask customer support.

We see this kind of post every now and again, so it's not such a big deal but I'm glad you have apologised because it does make a difference to us and everyone else here who helps out about the place.
So that we can make it easier for people to find the free lessons, can you explain what made you miss the link to the free lessons page? Is there something we can do to make it easier to see? Obviously we want the site to look professional and friendly but if there is a problem that needs fixing, then we need to know about it. :)

When my mouse moves over the Advanced tab on the front page, the rest of the links disappear. I had to close the tab and go to the site again to get the beginner link back that shows the free lessons.

As one who first joined this site two days ago,I find it totally awesome.The guitar instructers are patient,and excellent in explaining their lessons.I first started playing many years ago,and always wound up in a rut.Now,with the help of this web-site I finally feel like I am making progress.Before,I could not play a song in its entirety.Now I can,with the help of the instructers.For $12.95 a month this is one of the best investments I've made in my life.I started with the easy stuff and worked my way through it.Its given me great insight ,into why I first started playing guitar back in high school.I would reccomend this site to any one who wants to become a better guitar player.
