Apparently theres over 1,300 threads, but I only see a couple :(..what gives?

anyways, beginner here and just thought I'd share my inspiration

grantid, this isnt the actual artist playing, but its a fan with the acoustic cover...What are the odds that I can actually learn this??

There's nothing too difficult going on there, I'd say the odds are at about 100% if you stick with it.

As for the threads...they're there. There are pages and pages of threads in each section.

And by the way, welcome to GT.

When you look at any of the "main" sections of this forum (ie: Famous Bands and Artists or Tech Talk) look at the bottom of the page and you'll see a box that says "Display Options." At the bottom of it is the "From the" option – change it to whatever period of time you want to look at. If you want to browse all of the threads, then change it to "the beginning."


Also, if you're looking for information on a specific subject, be sure and use the "Search" tool at the top of the page. There are probably about 500 threads on this forum about, say, Steve Vai because nobody ever searches before they post a "OMG h0W c0m3 tH3reS nO p0sT aBoUt St33v vAi!!???!111" thread.

You can definetly play anything you take the time to practise correctly. If you are at the beginner level it would take more time than if you were more advanced, but keep practising it slowly and correctly and eventually you will get it.
