May solo VOTE

Took the liberty of posting a vote thread even though only 4 entries for May..........lets keep it goin!

i've already commented on the submissions so I will just tell you i voted for the Spedzar ...all three solos were good, but Speds was kick ass!

Bummer, went to post my reply a second ago and got booted out and lost it... :mad:

You got my vote and BTW thanks for keeping it alive this month with the wrap-up. Nice feel, cruisy and some cool bends, not flashy but very solid. Tonally pleasing with some memorable themes. Transitions and intro could have been slightly better thought out but overall I quite enjoyed this track. :)

Ditto to the other's comments. I liked your tone and certainly did not dislike your solo... But I also noticed the repetitive riffs (descending 4 note runs and groups of descending and ascending triplets). I would like to hear what you would come up with for a future BT if you heard a melody in your head that you could sing or hum and then forced yourself to learn how to play it. Try not to let what your fingers are used to playing determine how you solo in a particular key.

Challenging and different BT - thanks! :) Some very creative stuff from you this month. Nice key change! Eric Johnson fan I see... Some really good highlights there but also some stuff that seemed to drift on in parts, especially near the end. But you are definitely improving. BTW nice pants! :o

My vote when to Light. I liked everyones take. It was close between Light and Spedzar but I liked Lights tone more. Mpaq your tone was great but I found it to be a little repetitive. Mine was the same way from some of the feedback I have received although I tried to break mine up with the 2 string slides and some bends and varying the speed but I guess I will have to keep plugging along. Thanks for the feedback everybody. :)
