Hello. I just started my subscription to guitar tricks, so I thought I would extend greetings to everyone here . I am a veterinary technician. I have been studying music all my life. I play the flute, Irish whistle, Irish flute, piano, and the alto saxophone. I just recently started studying the electric guitar just because I have always wanted to learn to play it.

I like a lot of different kinds of music, but right now my favorites are the Pogues, The Dubliners and Flogging Molly.

I think I spelt that right.. :) It's the only thing I know.. sorry it's in Scotts Gaelic not Irish so you probably can't read it even if I did get the spelling right. :)

Welcome to GT in any case.. :)

Dia smuire dhuit! Ba mhaith liom caca milis agus uisce beatha!
Welcome to the site, love The Pogues myself. I've been toying with the idea of recording a whole load of metal versions of Irish rebel songs, kind of like a heavier version of The Horslips. Anyway, if you've recorded any music, post it in the listening forum. Hard to find fellow country men/women in these parts!
