ok, I just want to make sure I know what I'm talking about. A half stack... which is just a head and one cabinet, can be upgraded to a fullstack JUST by adding another cabinet? nothing needs to be done to the head? just more speakers........

Sure, most heads have 2 outputs one for each cab. The only heads I've seen that only had one output were some high-dollar boutique amps and why they would do that I have no idea.

Just make sure when you go hooking up the extra cab that the impedances on the amp are set correctly for the cabs you are using -- just check the owners manual for this stuff.

Not much beats the feeling of standing in front of half or full stack and pummeling your guitar.
