My Dad took me to see Eric Clapton when I was 8... and that was it. Then I got sent for classical lessons, which wasn't exactly what I had in mind... :eek:

Looking back it's the foundation of my playing now, but I didn't appreciate it at the time.

There's a quote from the late Brad Delp that sums up my view of guitar playing now:

"It's not because I need the money for groceries. I tell people that it is the only thing that I can do that makes me feel 15 again..."
