I don't consider myself a guitarist, foremost I consider myself a musician, the guitar is just my instrument to communicate what's in my head out into everyone else's. It's called an instrument for a reason, it's a tool. A tool to express. Whatever tool you pick, you're still expressing yourself. Granted, sometimes you can't express yourself with a certain instrument, and thus, new ones are created.
