iTunes is probably the best legal way to download music lol. Japanese music can also be downloaded there as well.[QUOTE=imthedevineflam]hey r u there??

Yes I was an online radio broadcaster for a while. It was fun! I miss it a lot. There were a lot of changes for online radio done last year against all broadcasters so I couldn't continue with it anymore. :(

I used to sing! hahaha but I couldn't do it professionally since I'm not that good. :o I love going to karaoke though. hahaha

Bye imthedevineflam! Hope to see you around! It was fun chat-posting with you. ;)

BTW, I edited my last post in reply to your other post that you made. You posted while I was replying so I didn't get to reply to that on time. hahaha - this is why you shouldn't treat a forum like a chat room. Just edit your posts and add on to them. :)

See you later! :)

I like L'arc en ciel. very cool band.

Hi ajt178! Nice to meet you and thank you for replying!

Wow a laruku fan on here! How did you get to know them? Hyde played near here in San Francisco one time. I didn't get to see that concert but I heard it was pretty crazy. :)

Welcome!

So, you like Miyavi? I do too, but I like some lyrics in my songs. Have you ever checked out some of Tommy Emmanuel, Phil Keaggy, and Andy Mckee creations. They are all percussionists guitarist. I especially like Tommy. Check them out on Youtube. I really like Tommy's "Boggie Guitar".

Catchya Later!

They've been around for so long, and they always make the top charts when ever they release something. :) I used to like them before, but I've gotten into the more grungier hard type of j-rock lately. :o

Hi looneytunes!! Thank you so much for the welcome!! :) Yeah I loved Miyavi ever since he went solo. But I'm not too into his newer funk/pop stuff though, too clean for me hahaha. He used to do much more grungier-punk type stuff before he went major. I checked out that boggie guitar video on youtube! :D

Well... I got my first guitar!! At first I was learning the fundamentals off of a junior guitar that a friend gave to my husband when he was getting his things ready to go back to Japan and couldn't bring everything with him.

It's not the one that I REALLY wanted though. There were two that I had my eyes on. Either the Ibanez GRG170DX Black and Metallic Silver Sunburst Set (japan model) that I'd have to talk/bribe relatives or friends into bringing along with them on the airplane when they visit or the Ibanez IJX121 Metal bundle.. but when I went to the store, they were out of black and only had silver on hand. The shop owner told me if I really wanted an ibanez he had one upstairs that was brand new with a scratch that he could give to me for $100, and we could make a bundle within $300 (the IJX121 was $299 for the black model). So he brought it down and it was the GRX20 (black). There was a scratch on the left side where the strap would go, but it didn't bother me so I said that I'd take it. I got an amp (Line 6 shark III 15) along with a tuner, strap, guitar stand, and gig bag for $300 and I've been back home messing around with everything. :D I'm so excited!

It's too bad that I'm an absolute beginner and only can play the simple chord groups that are in Chapter 3 of the absolute beginner lessons though. :( I'm proud to say though that my fingers on my left hand are now numb with blisters though! WOO-HOO! :p
