Umm... Yeah it's a great guitar, because even if you don't care too much for the effects, there is still a Standard american strat that is fully functional underneath! American strats are simply buttery in your hands, and are almost unmatched in the feel of the fretboard IMO. I would go for it for sure if you've got the money, especially if they take returns.
