Listening to Frank Axtell tonight inspired me to go out into my cold garage for half an hour and record this piece. I quickly grabbed a drum sequence off Fruityloops and came up with a dark theme and some improv solos, topped off with some eerie guitar synth. It's rough but it has a definite vibe.

I was thinking of the dread that the poor squid I caught the other night would have felt if they had been able to sense (with a human mind) looking up at me with those big eyes, what their fate would be as they found themselves on my chopping board (barely alive) just minutes before they became battered calamari rings. Still, they were delicious.....

Thanks Frank for the inspiration...

Hey Spedzar, listened to this the other day but never got to leave a comment. Love the concept, easily to visulaise where you were coming from! Some really cool improv work in there, had a very 'outside the box' feel that really worked. Keep on shredding the good stuff;-)

Thanks Superhuman, you too man! Also, glad to hear you're on the mend. I'm a lot more settled in my new place now so will try and get a few more things happening over the coming months to amuse everyone (self included)...
