hi can someone help me im trying to understand what time signature zz top la grange is in is it 4/4 heavily swung or 8/8? i counted 8 eight notes and each beat fell on the off beat or upstroke im so confused. im trying to transcribe it for a student. please help asap :)

I believe it's in 4's, but could work in 8's also. The shuffle beat may be whats throwing you off, which is why things end up on the upbeat.
