Numb Pinkie, Help needed

Evening gentlemen,

Ive been playing guiatr for about 4 or 5 years, but ive started playing more recently as i want to be a guitar teacher. problam is recently within the last month or so the little finger on my left had appears to be going numb, particualy at the end, i was just wondering if anyone else has had this befor, or if anyone can help.

is it normal?
if not how do i sort it?

Have you done any research under Carpal Tunnel Syndrome?
We've discussed it quite a few times here in the forum and there's info all over the web.
If it's a possibility, you might want to see a doctor to be sure.

odly, after looking on the internet it turns out that u cant get carple tunnel in the little finge, which is where i am having problem. the ligiment itself does not run into that finger.....or something along those lines, im no doc. can anyone confirm this for me?

It could also be something called reynauds syndrome (spelling may be off) but it usually affects the tips of random fingers they will go numb in cold weather or near anything cold and you have to warm them up to get the circulation back.
