I feel that this guy could beat out 95% of guitarists today if he lived in the U.S.A, and got lucky with a record deal. Supposedly he is one of the greatest teachers in Brazil. I've seen all his videos, his playing is amazing, and his love of the instrument is inspirational for me. I hope this guy becomes famous real soon, I would buy his stuff! Check him out, Gustavo Guerra.

Excellent! It proves there are still guitarists out there that don't think they have to choke their instrument to death to sound good/talented. I remember a movie where the lead character said something about 'music needs to breath'.

Nice stuff, very bluesy with lovely tone and technique. Check this guy out for something a little faster and more melodic: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3E2dMLsj-g&feature=related This guy David Valdes from Spain is my favourite guitarist, I've got his two cd's probably the best I've heard with excellent production too. I'd love to see this guy on the G3 tour - he picked up where the Becker/Friedman combo left off and has taken their stuff to the next level - not all fast shredding either. If you like that, check out the other tracks too!
