I have heard nothing but good things about both the VHT and Laney. I have had 3 Carvin guitars and currently play through a Carvin 100 watt tube combo and know that they offer great values on all of their products.
So, does anyone have any firsthand experience with any of these amps? The VHT is not in stores anywhere around me and Carvin is obviously direct-only. The Laney is at least an hour away to try. Also, I play mostly metal and hard rock so any other suggestions are welcome. Thanks!
