I would like to know the right way to mike your amp
what kind of mike? where to install it in front? ( am playing country and old rock) how to set your mixer?
Now...I got a usa Telecaster, a gt3 boss, a Fender chorus and I do like the sound of it .... in a small room I cant play like that ... because when I mike my guitar, my amp is too loud, and that all we hear on stage, and we barely hear the guitar in front ( what the croud listen to ) and if I lower the volume on the fender amp and crank the volume of my guitar chanel in the mixer it squeeek ( I did try a shure sm57 ) its a bit better but not enough so what should I do??? for now I hook my boss gt3 directly in the mixer but the sounds is not as good as if it was in the fender amp. will it be different in a bigger room?? will we be able to hear the rest of the of the band equal on stage... what am I doing wrong ???? Please help ... Thanks Don.
