ok, i dont know if youre talking an electric or acoustic; if you're talking acoustic this obviously isnt a help so ignore it. But if youre looking for something under $300, with amp included, id actually suggest the Fender starter kit; its a decent guitar, amp included with all the cables, etc. for closer to $200. Its nothing extravagent, and its not a BC Rich, but its a great learning guitar. Its worth checking out. Hope it helps.
