Hoorah to a crew of informative team players here, very eager to help!
I will try to learn to tune my guitar without any sort of help, I guess this is THE best way to train your ear? I've been told i have a great ear when it comes to music, but I still have trouble remembering how to tune my guitar perfectly, without any sort of guidance, so i'll work on that.
As far as learning music, thats always been a pain to me, but I guess it's time to buckle down, and get it done, for good..
Stairway To Heaven, is probably my favorite guitar piece, especially that solo, either that or Comfortably Numb by P.Floyd - I'm gonna try and keep piecing that song together.
What Do I want to do? As funny as that sounds, i've never even asked myself that question. However, here is my answer, I wanna be able to hear a piece of music, and then be able to play it with only a few minutes practice, I know several people can do that, and it's something i've always envied.
I love the blues, and want to be able to jam along with people on the drums, I want to be able to improvise on things, and create my own solo, I want to be able to play along and make my own little add-on's to pieces of music, so I can jam with songs that are being played.
Eventually id love to be able to play songs like Little Wing, SRV's rendition.
I'll keep you guys updated on my progress, and again thanks for all the support. This site's support, may motivate me to be better.
