Absolutely. Everyone should learn to read it. Not necessarily be able to sight read (read while playing "on demand"), but at least understand what is written on the page.

These are great questions!

You have provided a list of things you can do (partial songs, etc.). Can you provide a list of what you want to do? Like a clear, concise list of specific skills or goals?

If you want to "play the entire song" of which you only know part, then obviously you should get the best sheet music available for it and practice it until you can play it right.

We have over 3000 video lessons on just about every imaginable topic concerning playing the guitar. If you can give us a list of specific things you want to accomplish I am sure we can provide links to lessons that cover those topics. :)
