I will try to slow down, I guess.
I just feel i'm more advanced than the beginner series that was linked to me. I've looked at those videos and have surpassed what is being taught in them. My Barre chords are fairly clean, I can Play Sunshine of your love without any problems.
I had a guitar teacher for a few months, and he had a tough time teaching me barre chords, but I eventually got them down.
As far as tuning my guitar, I can't do it without a tuner, however with a tuner, I dont have any problems at all.
I can play things like the intro to Stairway to Heaven, Comfortably Numb(Pink Floyd) etc, and parts of the solo, I also make up some blues'y licks of my own using pentatotonic scales, and have a blast playing them. But learning actual songs is my downfall, the only reason i can do parts of them is because i've read the tabs, and by no means have i learned these songs by ear.
I cannot read music, and thats definetly something I need to do.
But what does this site have to offer me besides, licks, etc.
I know i need a lot more practice to "tune" things up.
What i've always found very helpful, is listening to the song, as it shows you the tab. like that site Guitar-Tab.com
I'm sure there are thousands of guitarist's that have been, or are in my shoes right now, and just dont know how to proceed further.
How can I take advantage of this site, to make me the player I know I can be?
Thanks again everyone
