I am trying to learn the style of John Frusciante, the guitarist for The Red Hot Chili Peppers,(Both new and old music) but I am stuck. He probably plays something with funk in it, but I am not sure. Any help? Thanks, Olson Here's a site to listen to their music;

I'd say about 90% of his style is based around the mixture of Hendrix and funk bands like Booker T & the MG's. As for the advice, play simple and keep your right hand loose but precise. Find a funk guitar tutorial, there's plenty of them on the net. I've seen one by Scott Henderson and it covers everything I consider the basics of funk.
Impendance is fruitfull while the buttons are circled.:eek:
