Of the choices, I'd go with the Turbo Distortion if I had the cash or the DS-1 if I was looking budget. But take my opinion with a grain of salt. I haven't really played around with any pedals recently, I've got an old DOD Death Metal pedal that's about 15 years old that I absolutely love and it's still going strong. I've heard the newer DigiTech version of it isn't as good, though.
