i recently bought an epiphone les paul and the stock pickups just dont have any balls. im kinda new to the whole electronic world of guitars so i need a little bit of help.

i play a lot of classic rock and blues and love jimmy page's tone and want somthing along those lines. i need a decent set of pickups to make my guitar sound great. any suggestions?

thanks much

Hi Jordo,
Welcome to GT........Seymour Duncan makes some wonderful replacement pickups...the "pearly gates", "59's" or "seth lover" models will beef up your tone.........the amp you're using is also important....and it is the consensus of many players that 70% of a players tone is in his/her fingers. Take care and all the best Jordo.

Can you suggest a good set of fingers I can try, because mine just aren't giving me what I want? :p

I've always liked Duncan JBs. It's probably more of a metal pickup than what you're looking for, though.
