Mesa Boogie Dual. EL34 or 6L6 or 5881

It's about that time... well it's actually way beyond the time for me to change the tubes out of the tremoverb. I bought it used with EL34s like 5-6 years ago haha. And since then my taste for tone has changed from all that hi-gainy **** to more... well actual tone :) . I was wondering if anybody has ever tried or know about the difference in sound between the EL34s, 6L6s, and 5881.

The tone i'm trying to achieve is alil hard for me to explain. I want a fatty, beefy, woody kinda something something kinda sound but still cut through, dont really care much for ULTA DISTORTION!!!. the way i think of it is kinda like a mixed between James Hetfield (garage inc) and Van Valen (first album) sound if that can make anymore sense, hahah. I know that one of problems is that I need a 4x12 cab (because its a combo), but please any comments or suggestion would be helpful.
