Just look for something that has soft material in places that touch the guitar. You don't want the guitar to stick in any way at all, so straight rubber is not the best idea. You mentioned the neck of the guitar, but also be aware of the base that it is being sat on. Id be worried about the body of the guitar as well since all the weight is there.
